Academic Project
Gillman Barracks, Singapore
Year 3 Semester 1, National University of Singapore (NUS)

The Crafted Commons reimagines Gillman Barracks as a vibrant hub where makers and buyers connect through creativity.
Project synopsis
I designed this landscape as a central creative marketplace and maker space where buyers can encounter the creative process in action while makers work in a setting that is both public and conducive to craft.
The design draws from pottery, silversmithing, and crochet, translating each process into spatial and experiential elements. By blending creativity, community, and commerce within a natural setting, the project reinforces Gillman Barracks as an arts enclave where buyers discover and makers inspire.
